What it looks like...

Armed: You notice a tiny needle with a rust colored discoloration on its tip hidden next to the keyhole.
Set off! With a barely audible click, a tiny needle near the <box>'s lock springs out and stabs you painfully in the finger. Looking at the needle, you notice with horror the rust colored coating on the tip.
You are poisoned!.
Set off by someone else:  
Successfully disarmed: Working slowly, you carefully bend the head of the needle so that it can no longer spring out from its hidden compartment.
Disarmed (safe): A bent needle sticks harmlessly out from it's hidden compartment near the lock.
Notes: As with the poison trap, setting it off multiple times can be very dangerous.
Glance: A rusty needle! The sign of the nerve poison trap for sure.
