What it looks like...

Armed: A tiny bronze face, Fae in appearance, grins ridiculously from its place on the <type> <box>. Some sort of fatty bladder sticks out from the edges of this miniature metallic visage.
Set off! You attempt to pull the annoying grinning face from the <box> and clumsily shred the fatty bladder behind it in the process.

A black cloud of ash and soot explodes out of the bladder on the <type> <box>, and you suddenly feel horribly transformed.
Set off by someone else:
Successfully disarmed: Carefully, you pry the bronze face away from the <type> <box>, then moving even more cautiously, pierce the bladder and allow its unsavory contents to spray harmlessly upon the ground.
Disarmed (safe): Still grinning ridiculously is a tiny bronze face, loosened from the wood. Behind this metallic visage rests a small deflated bladder.
Notes: This trap has two effects: First, it turns you into a mime, unable to do much other than be in a box. Second, it turns the people around you into monsters of unimaginable cruelty. They poke, prod, tease, lick... anything to bother you, knowing that you can't do or say anything in return. The trap itself is not as bad as the actions of those around you. It brings out the worst in people, even friends, and therein lies the true horror of the mime trap. The effects of this trap can last for a very long time unless ended with an Uncurse spell.

When someone has been turned into a mime, some rather humorous things may be seen. Here are a few.
>smile: As a mime, you're always smiling.
>say/sing/chant/recite something: You start to say/sing/chant/recite, but decide it'd be better to pantomime it.
>lean: You lean on nothing at all.
>hum/whistle: You pretend to hum/whistle the mime theme song.
many actions randomly result in: You attempt that, but end up getting caught in an invisible box.
[Roundtime: 10 seconds.]
>look <self>: You are <person person>, a <race> Mime.
You have <your normal> eyes, a pure white face painted with black triangles, and an exaggerrated smile.
You are in good shape.

[You are holding a <descriptor> <type> <box> in your <right> hand.]
You are wearing a pair of pristinely white gloves, black dancing pants, and a striped black and white shirt that is obviously disguising other articles of clothing.
<Uncurse cast on you or it wears off>: You suddenly feel nauseous, as if you'd been doing performance art.
<Uncurse cast on another mime>: <Person>'s natural color returns as the silent curse of the mime fades from <him>.

While a mime, there is a chance of slipping an action through, but it is uncommon. Contrary to popular belief, a mime does NOT need to be dragged everywhere; if someone takes them into their group, there's a good chance the mime will simply follow along.

Glance: A fatty bladder hides behind a bronze face. Mime trap.
-or-
There is that grinning bronze face which makes you worry about performance art.
